This, of course, can consist of any number of scenarios—completing day-to-day accounting functions, preparation and explanation of financial reports, assistance with business growth issues, or tax recommendations that improve your bottom line.

Fees

I strongly believe in being upfront about fees charged to clients. As such, services rendered are invoiced at a $100 hourly rate. This rate is discounted 25% for bookkeeping projects related to QuickBooks, Peachtree and MYOB maintenance. Generous discounts are also extended to non-profits and fellow Chamber, BBB and Downtown Business Association members enjoy an additional 10% discount.

I typically only charge for deliverables, such as tax returns, financial statements, on-site accounting assistance and certain special projects where formal written correspondence or tabulation is performed. In other words, informal answers to questions posed during the year are not billed.

Finally, my free initial consultation is the equivalent of 1 hour of service provided, which includes a combination of face-to-face meetings, telephone conversations and email correspondence. This $100 discount is extended to all new clients.
